Job Description


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research basic information for contacting potential sellers.
  • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers in order to increase revenue, SBA’s acquisition and investment programs.
  • Review and gather tenant leases, lease amendments, mortgages and other legal documents.
  • Prepare revenue and expense projections.
  • Use best judgment in negotiating a favorable price and terms that meet SBA’s investment criteria.
  • Serve as a liaison between landlords, surveyors and legal counselors in order to guarantee all requirements are met for the transactions.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • HS Diploma/ GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferably in real estate.
  • Familiarity with a variety of the practices and procedures associated with Real Estate including, but not limited to, subdivision, taxes and zoning.
  • Ability to travel within the country.

Language Skills:

  • Able to communicate in English is a plus (verbal and written).
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area and volume.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:


  • Valid driver’s license.
