The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of the HR Information System, which includes the management of the organizational structure, master data of employee records, testing of system changes, process enhancements, data quality, HRIS analytics, and reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Human Resources department with projects through researching, compiling, computing and analyzing data.  Research is organized and presented with recommendations based on findings.
  • Review quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, propose solutions, and take action to ensure integrity in systems data and processes.
  • Develop standard and custom reports and meet reporting requirements.
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Develop and maintain training programs, user procedures, and guidelines associated with assigned responsibilities or projects.
  •  Support the design and functionality by testing and auditing HRIS systems, processes and related activities.
  • Maintain human capital data on a day-to-day basis by carrying out the following functions:
  • Support all data entry and data workflow issues handled by HR Administrators.
  • Create and update Job Codes in the UltiPro system as requested by members of Human Resources.
  • Manage data corrections in the UltiPro system as identified.
  • Assign and update the various Security roles amongst system administrators and users.
  • Set up Review Templates in the Performance Management module within UltiPro and administer mid-year and annual performance evaluations.
  • Respond to inquiries and troubleshoot issues, as the first point of contact, for the Recruiting and Onboarding modules.
  • Assist HRIS Manager in testing product releases prior to those product releases going live in production.

  • 2 + years of HRIS system (UltiPro preferred)
  • HR generalist/specialist experience, strongly preferred
  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Detailed-oriented and have excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and provide solutions and consultation to the business
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a team focused, collaborative environment and possess interpersonal skills necessary to manage business relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area and volume.
Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
